What is First Luxury?
First Luxury started as a company with a retail store in Singapore’s Main Shopping belt, Orchard Road. We have been preserving the value of luxury items by reselling them from this traditional brick and mortar store.
First Luxury believes that every luxury item has its value, and that it’s our duty to preserve it.
The First Luxury app is simply an amplification of this value, to make the buying and selling of luxury items to be a smart, transparent, trustworthy and simple process! It also consolidates and expands the regional luxury community.
For sellers
How do I sell through the First Luxury app?
Simply create an account by signing up via email to begin using the app.
Click on the “Consign” button in the bottom tab bar, submit the consignment request form and we will handle the rest! Logistics (collection and deliveries), marketing, and a secure payment gateway to facilitate the sales, will all be taken care of by us.
Once your consignment request is accepted, you'll need to drop off your bag at our store or arrange for us to collect it so we can authenticate it.
If your item passes our authentication process, we'll handle the listing, marketing, and secure payment processing.
All consignment items are stored safely and properly in our insured warehouse.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your consignment at any time for reasons including but not limited to:
- Item not passing our authentication process.
- Item not meeting our quality standards.
- Misrepresentation of the item's condition or details.
What are the collection charges?
Singapore:
Free doorstep collection is available, if your total consignment value exceeds $5000.
A flat $25 per collection fees applies for consignment values below $5000.
Indonesia:
Free doorstep collection is available for local location within Jakarta, if your total consignment value exceeds Rp50.000.000.
A flat Rp200.000 per collection fee within Jakarta applies for consignment values below Rp50.000.000.
Domestic shipping rates for cities outside of Jakarta will apply.
I am overseas, can I sell my items through your platform?
Yes, please submit your request through the app, and our team will get in touch with you in no time. However, our accepted price and denomination is in SGD, all sales proceeds will be transferred in SGD back to your nominated bank account.
How much are the consignment fees?
Our consignment fees are as follows:
The respective fee will be automatically deducted from the sales proceeds, prior to transferring to the consignor.
For buyers
How do I buy an item through the app?
If you find items you like, you can simply click the “Add to cart“ button, and check out whenever you wish. Do note that sales are only final upon payment – someone else may buy the item if you don’t check out fast!
For overseas shoppers, shipping fees are not included in the listed price. Shipping costs vary depending on the size, weight and destination of your chosen items. Information about overseas shipping fees will appear during the checkout process.
Can I view an item in person before purchasing it?
Yes, you can! Just tap on “Arrange a viewing” at the bottom of the item listing.
What does “Minimum offer price” mean?
Minimum offer price is the lowest price a seller is willing to accept for their item.
The minimum offer price is shown on the listing, if the seller enables it.
If there isn’t any minimum offer price, it means the price is fixed: The seller does not accept any offers. You will be notified when the seller accepts or rejects your offer. If rejected, you can always make another offer, at a higher price.
Once a seller accepts your offer, you have 24 hours to make the payment process.
